Gloria Willie
Gloria Willie is what her name reads on the diploma certificate when she graduated with a Diploma in Communication Arts (Journalism) in 2007.
Baby Gee is what her friends in the same academic year would normally call her by.
Gloria currently manages programs which include U.S. cultural envoys, Ambassadors fund for cultural preservation; professional exchanges, international visitors’ leadership program (IVLP) and academic exchanges (Fulbright/Humphrey), Study of the U.S. Institute, United States South Pacific Scholarship Program, and Community Solutions Program among others.
She believes that Communication Arts Department sent her out with set of skills that she is grateful to use in her workplace.
Bonnie Abola
Bonnie Abola currently works with The GoPNG National Health Plan 2011-2020 (NHP) and National HIV and AIDS Strategy 2011-2015 (NHS) focus resources on primary health care and a targeted HIV response. A clear focus of the strategy is to strengthen service delivery to rural and disadvantaged urban communities. The overarching objectives for both programs are to improve maternal and child health outcomes and deliver increased health and HIV services to the rural majority and high risk populations in support of the Partnership for Development outcomes. She just started this job and she is excited. She says it will peanuts because she has been trained well at DWU.
Bonnie Abola is the Media and Communications Officer for HHISP.
She attained her degree from, DWU, in Communication Arts in 2008.

Gregory Avira
Q: What is your aim after completing Communication Arts?
A: “I am passionate about layout and design (publishing) and aim to start my own sports magazine in the long run. But in the short term I aim to work as a journalist, specifically in print media, as I love writing and Taking pictures.”
Rosewitta Gewa
Q: What is your aim after completing Communication Arts?
A: “I also love writing and reading. I came to DWU and discovered the passion for researching. I think I will be interested to do any research or writing for any organization that will take me after this year”.
Joan Bailey
Q: What is your aim after completing Communication Arts?
A: “I wanted to become a communication officer in any organizations. My passion is to work with people and help them to realize their potential in making their dreams a reality. In addition, I want to ensure that views of the people are heard through different forms of media using the journalism skills learn at Divine Word University.”
Helen Kuran
Q: What is your aim after completing Communication Arts?
A: “I am interested in the two mediums of mainstream media which is radio and television especially in the editing and production. Otherwise I am more interested in public relation and international relation.”
